J a b b e r z i l l a   ::   screenshots

Here is a list of miscellaneous screenshots throughout Jabberzilla's lifetime. It has been a long, hard road to develop an IM client on Mozilla, which is itself an evolving piece of software. It's almost amazing that I am still working on this.

  1. [IMAGE] (June 2000) This is the oldest screenshot that I can currently dig up of Jabberzilla. The roster and presence were hard coded. As you can see, I was rather radical with the skin of it, and I have an alert bar at the top of the screen. Yes, that did actually work, and when it was click on the message panel came up.

    [IMAGE] (June 2001) Here is the JabberSlash demo. This intrigued a lot of people at the O'Reilly Conference in the Mozilla sessions. I haven't had time to progress it into something useful.

  2. [IMAGE] [IMAGE] (October 2001) Implementing a roster what had actual user groups was a lot of hard work. I feared the idea of implementing it from the moment I made the first working roster in 2000. Eventually, I got it working, and I was a lot smarter afterward.

  3. [IMAGE] [IMAGE] [IMAGE] (December 2001, January 2002) These are images from the development of the Jabberzilla Whiteboard. The third image shows the hardest task of the project, conquered.

    [IMAGE] [IMAGE] (March 2002) With the beta of the whiteboard finished, I took these screenshots late at night. What a masterpiece! No, I am not talking about the artwork. The
    second image also shows the floating version of Jabberzilla.
  4. [IMAGE] [IMAGE] [IMAGE] [IMAGE] [IMAGE] [IMAGE] (September 2002) Beta 5 login screens.

    More coming soon...
